Working principle of airflow classifier
The high-speed rotating grading wheel generates a strong centrifugal field at the outer edge of the grading wheel. Large sized micro powder particles are thrown out due to the greater centrifugal force, while small-sized differential particles are "sucked" into the interior of the grading wheel by the wind due to the smaller centrifugal force and enter the collector through the fine powder chamber and conveying pipeline for collection.
The airflow classifier must be integrated with a collector, induced draft fan, discharge valve, and feeder to complete the classification process. It can form a closed-loop or open-loop production system with grinding equipment such as ball mills, Raymond mills, roller mills, and vertical mills.
application area
Suitable for grading the particle size of irregular shapes such as spherical, sheet-like, needle shaped, etc., as well as separating two materials with different densities, and also used to remove impurities from powders.
Widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, non-metallic minerals, metallic minerals, abrasives, ceramics, refractory materials, pesticides, food, health products, and new materials.
